Everything I hear I say to others around.I’m not an animal, nor part of the human race.I will, immediately, repeat after you;But only if my tails in place.

    I was thinking echo, too. But echoes don’t have tails and I needed another guess. Something that is not alive but has a tail and repeats sound. Had to be a mike.

    A megaphone – the tail needs to be pointing at the source of the original sound.

    A mic when it’s plugged in has a long cord for a tail. And it can’t speak unless this is “in place.” A megaphone has no long tail. Just a butt that you speak into. I don’t know about that.

    The riddle says nothing about a “long” tail. When speaking about an inanimate object butt and tail are synonyms. I think that megaphone is the best answer yet. Also, strictly speaking, a mic does not repeat anything to other around; it repeats a signal to an amplifier and speakers, which in turn repeats the audio. Since a megaphone has these components built in, it can be said to both hear and repeat.

    I was thinking a telephone… it hears incoming sound from the other party, repeats what you say to the other party… yeah, you get the idea… the tail (cord) yep.

    the only things i can agree with are microphone and megaphone.
    echo has no tail, phones can be cordless (and so can i mic i suppose), tape machine and any other recording device wouldnt repeat things instantly after they are said, but whenever they are replayed

    I would have to say that it is a radio.. as in a walkie-talkie… the tail being the antena, and it will immediatly repeat whateveryou say to everyone else who has one.

    umm, i think its a microphone. not a megaphone. it says it repeats it immediatly. it also repeats to everyone around you. obviously not a megaphone. thats just my opinion though.

    It is a microphone, non-living thing, having a long tail (wire) connected to the amplifier. The microphone recieves message spoken by the user and broadcast through the speakers or transmitters.

    Its a megaphone. Everyone is taking the “tail” bit too seriously so they are saying microphone. The “in place” part does not imply a cord being plugged in, and is really a stretch just to say it is. While if we take a megaphone, one that does not have to be electronic, (A paper one for example,) all you have to do is talk in the ‘tail’ and the megaphone will ‘immediately repeat’ what you say, loudly to the crowd. Again, with feeling everyone, say it with me.
    The answer is Megaphone.
